Fastest way to get news on my iPhone

Thank you so much for the quick update and fix for iPhone 5 and iOS 6! Ive used this app for a few years and thought I might have to find something else. Im very glad I didnt. This is the fastest way to get news on my phone. Thanks again!

Woo Hoo

Thanks for the fixdate (my word for an update that fixes something) this is my favourite RSS reader.

Thank you so much the update...

Works like a dream now under iOS 6. Love this app!

Nice but no Google integration

Im not sure what the value is for an RSS reader these days without any sharing of feed lists with other apps or platforms. At least integration with google reader would be useful.

Great, and no log-ins required!

Very nice, and doesnt require logging in anywhere. Just use it!

Beware!

Downloaded this new update just a few moments ago and now all of my feeds are gone and it keeps crashing shortly after I open it!

Request

Thanks for the recent update. Is there any way you can make the fonts on the unread items bold and/or darker? The way it is now makes it hard to tell the read items from the unread.

Still has problems under iOS 5.1.1

Still tends to crash on original iPad when rendering very complex pages with lots of images (e.g. CNN). Worse if other apps are open but it can happen even when xFeed is the only app running. Memory management problem? Safari can display those same pages without difficulty. New UI has a bug. Sometimes when returning from the "full article page" it reverts to the old UI (partially)... list of available articles is shown full-width rather than in the narrow-column overlay style. Once this happens there seems to be no way to view articles again... they do not display when selected. Only way to correct the problem is to forcibly shut down the app and then restart it.

Needs PUSH Notifications

Nice BUT this app needs customizable (per feeds) PUSH notifications. It seems lame to me that a good app does not take advantage of existing capabilities in iOS: PUSH notifications.

Just one problem...

Im using this on an iPad (first generation) and have been very impressed with this app. This update has given us a sleek, new UI which I have come to love. Although, I would also agree with another comment that requests a bolder look for unread items as it was in the past. Unfortunately, the problem that Ive run into now is that it will not open some of my articles. They appear in my list to read, but when I click on the item, it just stays highlighted and does not load. As someone who uses this app on a daily basis, I hope that this can be fixed soon. Otherwise, keep up the great work! :)

Has bugs, developer ignores users

This app cannot backup/copy/export or import/paste a feed list, which is vital to an rss client - setting the app up on successive devices causes too much unnecessary typing. rssRunner is much more user-friendly in this regard. A user asked for this feature on Nothing Everywheres forums back in April of 2009.. this feature is still not implemented. It seems that opening an RSS feed in safari does indeed open the xfeed app, but the "opened" RSS feed is nowhere to be found in the app. The app opens but doesnt display the "imported" feed. Users have been asking for features in the developers feature request threads for years with no helpful replies. It seems the developer doesnt listen to his users. Fix these problems and Ill update my rating. Until then this app simply isnt worth installing.

Nice solution for me

For the way I use RSS feeds, this is the best solution out there. I dont have the time nor inclination to flip through a graphics-laden aggregator thats trying to copy a magazine layout; this to me misses the point of an RSS reader. Fast, well-organized, and simple. Good job.

Best rss reader

This is the best free rss reader I have tried on iPhone 5. Thanks for creating this.
